Hi Mark. It's a pleasure to visit your site again.

Terrific article and accompanying images relating to the extreme drought conditions along the Darling River.

The once mighty Darling is a sad and sorry sight. However some much welcome rain will hopefully see this once mighty river return to its former glory.

Your images have encapsulated beyond belief the severity of the drought conditions that much of Australia is currently experiencing. It's important to record these scenes and share them to audiences not only in Australia, but for the whole world to see.

All being well, future generations will look back on these startling images and wonder how such a river had virtually run dry.

Mark, being located in Cobar as you are, you are ideally placed to cover such dramatic scenes. Thanks for sharing your work and good luck for your future photography endeavours.
